RMAC Softball Tournament Pushed Back One Day
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Winter weather conditions has delayed the start the 2013 RMAC Softball Tournament, originally scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 2. The tournament will be delayed one day and will run from May 3-5.
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs will be the No. 6 seed in the tournament and take on No. 3 seed Colorado Christian on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the Colorado Mines Softball Field in Golden, Colo. If the Mountain Lions lose, they will play against at 4 p.m. on Friday against the loser of the Colorado Mesa / Fort Lewis game. If UCCS wins, they will play Saturday at 10 a.m. against the winner of the CMU/FLC game.
The Mountain Lions are making their second RMAC tournament appearance in the last three seasons and will face Colorado Christian in postseason play for the first time in program history.
