UCCS and Highlands Series Moved Up
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A winter storm that is forecasted to hit Colorado Springs this weekend has moved the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and New Mexico Highlands softball series up to a tripleheader on Friday at 10 a.m. The final game of the series is tentatively scheduled for noon on Saturday.
It will be the third tripleheader of the home season for the Mountain Lions. UCCS is 6-0 at home and is on the best home start since the 2007 season. The Mountain Lions are outscoring opponents 65-28 at home and are ranked No. 12 in the nation with a .351 batting average.
