Weather Cancels Final Game of Metro State Series

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Snow and temperatures have canceled the final game of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and Metro State, scheduled for today at Mountain Lion Field. The game will not be made up.

The Mountain Lions won the first three games of the series yesterday with 11-4, 10-2 and 8-7 victories against the Roadrunners. UCCS is undefeated at home with a 6-0 record in the best start to the home season since 2007.

The Mountain Lions will be back on the road next week in a four-game series at Adams State. First pitch in the series is set for noon on March 16 in Alamosa, Colo.
