COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Univeristy of Colorado Colorado Springs softball player, Allie Corids, was named the RMAC player of the week after her outstanding performance last weekend.

Corids helped lead UCCS on offense in a tripleheader sweep against Fort Lewis to start the 2013 conference season 3-0. She had a team-high 10 RBIs, went 7-for-10 from the plate and had a slugging percent of 1.000, with one homerun. In games two and three of the tripleheader, she went a combined 6-for-7 with three runs scored and eight runs batted in.

Corids is the second Mountain Lion to earn RMAC player of the week honors this season. Teammate Jessica Belsterling also received this distinction after the opening weekend of the season.
