Mesa State, UCCS to Try One More Time
If at first you don't succeed ...
The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and Mesa State will again try to get some games in before the start of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference schedule when they get together for as doubleheader Saturday at Grand Junction's Bergman Field.
These same two teams, along with Adams State, tried to play this past weekend only to be thwarted by a state-wide snowstorm.
It was the second snow-out for Mesa State. The three-game mini-tournament with UCCS and Adams State was hastily scheduled after the cancellation of a RMAC/Northern Sun Conference crossover tournament scheduled the same weekend for Kearney, Neb.
Adams State will not participate in the third attempt. UCCS and Mesa State will play a nonconference doubleheader beginning at noon on Saturday.
