Haney Named First Team All-RMAC, Three Named Honorable Mention

COLORADO SPRINGS -- University of Colorado at Colorado Springs senior center fielder Stacy Haney was named to the 2008 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Conference first team, the RMAC announced Wednesday.

Haney led the RMAC in batting average (.519), was second in walks (34) and stolen bases (24) and third in doubles (17). She also hit 10 home runs and drove in 53.

Three Mountain Lions, shortstop Sarah Cleland, right fielder Brianna Workman and left fielder Sierra Green, were named All-RMAC honorable mention.

Cleland led the Mountain Lions and was tied for second in the RMAC with 57 RBIs. Workman led the conference with 25 stolen bases. Green hit .351 with four triples and 18 stolen bases.
