University of Colorado at Colorado Springs second baseman Rachel Hancock was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference player of the week, the conference announced Tuesday.

In the Mountain Lions' four-game series against New Mexico Highlands, Hancock had 12 RBIs despite batting out of the leadoff spot. The junior from Lafayette went 1—for-18 during the series with a double and two home runs.

Hancock hit the game-winning home run in the 10th inning of Game 4 against the Cowgirls, a three-run shot to left field. She also drove home the game-winning run with a hard single through the left side in Game 3. Hancock drove in three of the Mountain Lions' four runs in the series opener, the team's lone loss.

It was Hancock's first RMAC player of the week award.
