Haney Named RMAC Player of the Week for the Second Time this Season

This is the second time this season that the center fielder Stacy Haney of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference player of the week, the conference announced Wednesday.

The junior from Littleton Colo., went 11-for-19 with 8 RBIs as the Mountain Lions swept the doubleheader against Fort Hays State, and won three out of four against Regis. Haney also had nine runs, two home runs, and three doubles this past week.

For the season, Haney has a .511 batting average. She also boasts a .581 on base percentage and a .894 slugging percentage.

This is the fourth RMAC award earned this season for the Mountain Lions. Stacy Haney was named player of the week for Week 1, while Libby White was pitcher of the week for Week 2, and Lindsay Shandera was named player of the week for Week 3.
