Saturday's Doubleheader Postponed Until Monday
Saturday's softball doubleheader between the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Mountain Lions and the Regis Rangers was postponed due to rain and muddy conditions at Mountain Lion Field. The games will now be played Monday evening at 6 and 8 p.m.
The late start times were agreed upon to allow the Regis players to minimize missed class time. The start time was inconsequential to the UCCS players, who begin their Spring Break on Monday.
Sunday's doubleheader between the same two teams will also be delayed an hour to allow more time for field preparation. The first game is now scheduled for noon with the second game starting at approximately 2 p.m.
