Chalk up another accomplishment for Brittni Carlson.
After already receiving First Team All-RMAC honors and the RMAC Freshman of the Year award, Carlson was named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Region Team early this summer. Carlson received Second Team honors in the South Central Region. Only 28 Division II players in each region receive this prestigious honor every year.
Carlson, who is from Erie, CO, hit .389 with five HR and 34 RBI as a freshman last season for the Mountain Lions. She is the first softball player to in school history to be named to an All-Region team.
