Softball camps Aug.4-7
The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs women's softball team will be conducting a team softball camp the week of August 4-August 7. The camp will be at the 4-Diamonds Complex on Nevada Avenue and will run from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day.
The cost will be $300 per team (for 6 players or more) or $50 for individuals. Individual campers are welcome and will be placed on a team.
The camp will be run by CU-Colorado Springs head coach Scott Peterson, plus Mountain Lions assistant coaches, and members of the CU-Colorado Springs team!
The camp will conclude on Thursday with a Tournament.
This camp is designed to help the high school players get ready for the upcoming fall season. Please bring a water bottle and a sack lunch.
Typical Camp Day:
8:00am-8:15 Introductions
8:15-8:30 Stretching
8:30-8:45 Throwing
8:45-10:00 Primary Position Drills
10:00-10:30 Team Competitions
10:30-12:00 1 and 1 Count Games
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00-1:15 Team Talks
1:15-2:00 Base Running
2:00-3:00 Secondary Position Drills

Carlson received Second Team honors in the South Central Region. Only 28 Division II players in each region receive this prestigious honor every year. | |
| June 23, 2003 | Mountain Lions sign two recruits | The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs softball team signed two key additions for the 2003-2004 season. Crystal Krebs, from Loveland, Colo., will rejoin former battery mate Amber Colton on the Mountain Lions team. Krebs is a transfer from Division I Texas-Arlington where she was named third-team All-Conference. While playing high school softball in Colorado, Krebs was an All-Colorado selection her junior and senior years while teaming with Colton at Loveland High School. | |
