| November 12, 2003 | Softball team gets four verbal commitments | The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs softball team received verbal commitments from Sarah Cleland, Kaleigh Beekman, Erin Selby, and Sarah Brisky. | |
| July 17, 2003 | Carlson Named to All-Region Team | Chalk up another accomplishment for Brittni Carlson.After already receiving First Team All-RMAC honors and the RMAC Freshman of the Year award, Carlson was named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Region Team early this summer. Carlson received Second Team honors in the South Central Region. Only 28 Division II players in each region receive this prestigious honor every year. | |
| July 10, 2003 | Softball camps Aug.4-7 | The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs women's softball team will be conducting a team softball camp the week of August 4-August 7. The camp will be at the 4-Diamonds Complex on Nevada Avenue and will run from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day. | |
| June 23, 2003 | Mountain Lions sign two recruits | The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs softball team signed two key additions for the 2003-2004 season. Crystal Krebs, from Loveland, Colo., will rejoin former battery mate Amber Colton on the Mountain Lions team. Krebs is a transfer from Division I Texas-Arlington where she was named third-team All-Conference. While playing high school softball in Colorado, Krebs was an All-Colorado selection her junior and senior years while teaming with Colton at Loveland High School. | |
| May 5, 2003 | 2003 softball season recap | CU-Colorado Springs made school history this season by becoming the first softball team to ever win a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference playoff game. Amber Colton threw a complete game two-hitter and Brittni Carlson drove in a run and scored another to lead the Mountain Lions to a 2-1 victory over New Mexico Highlands in the opening round of the RMAC Tournament. |
