|February 7, 2013||UCCS Records 17th Straight Semester with 3.00 Student-Athlete GPA||One of the most successful athletic semesters in the history of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs also came with success in the classroom as Mountain Lion student-athletes recorded a 17th consecutive semester with a grade point average above 3.0. Fourteen student-athletes earned the President's List with a semester GPA of 4.0 and 23 earned a spot on the Dean's List with a GPA between 3.75 and 3.99.|

|November 19, 2012||Shaswar, Causse Named to Daktronics South Central Region Second Team||University of Colorado Colorado Springs seniors Mash Shaswar and Gabe Causse were named to the Daktronics Division II Men's Soccer All-South Central Region Second Team this morning. The duo helped lead the Mountain Lions to their first RMAC semifinal game since 2001.|
|October 11, 2011||Friesen heads list of five Mountain Lions named academic All-RMAC||The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its all-academic performers for the 2011 men’s soccer season on Tuesday. UCCS senior Matt Friesen was named first team all-academic, senior, Mash Shaswar made the second team, and three other Mountain Lions, Eric Goldberg, Gabriel Causse, and Jabari Shaw were named to the honor roll.|
