COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs leading scorer James Roberts earned a spot on the Capital One Academic All-District First Team announced Thursday morning by the College Sports Information Directors of America. He's the second Mountain Lion on the all-district first team since available records begin in 2002, with the only other coming last year in Mash Shaswar.

Roberts is currently on pace to break into the top 10 single-season records for points per game (.70) and is among the RMAC leaders in points as well with his six goals and three assists on the season. Roberts will try to add to those totals in the teams final two games this weekend.

When he's not helping the Mountain Lions on the field, the Perrysburg, Ohio native manages a 3.60 GPA in the classroom where he is majoring in Sport Management in the college of business.
