COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Early registration discounts end on Saturday for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer Winter Elite ID Camp on Jan. 25 at Mountain Lion Stadium. Eligible student-athletes can register online before prices increase by $15.
The camp is open to any student-athletes with advanced playing experience who are looking to be seen by members of the UCCS coaching staff for the 2014 recruiting class. No open tryouts will be offered before the start of the 2014 season after the Jan. 25 Elite ID camp. All campers will be evaluated by the Mountain Lion coaching staff and will be given an opportunity to acquire a better understanding of their current abilities and how to retain learned skills through self-awareness.
Campers can register by paper for $75 if received by Saturday, or for $90 if received after Saturday. Online registrations include a 3 percent convenience fee. Gates to Mountain Lion Stadium open at 1:30 p.m., and camp will run from 2-5 p.m.
The Mountain Lions are coming off of their fourth conference playoff appearance and had three-student-athletes named to the All-RMAC postseason teams. UCCS was ranked as high as No. 17 in the national polls in the sixth year of the program.
