Mountain Lions Draw Fort Lewis in RMAC First Round
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - With the conclusion of the regular season, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team (9-7-1, 6-7-1 RMAC) finished sixth in the RMAC standings and qualified for the conference tournament.
The Mountain Lions will play third seed Fort Lewis College (14-3, 10-3 RMAC) on Wednesday, Nov. 6, to open the first round of the RMAC tournament. The third-seeded Skyhawks will host the match in Durango, Colo., at Dirks Field, at 2:30 p.m.
This will be the third meeting between UCCS and FLC this season. The Mountain Lions and Skyhawks split the first pair of games, with both matches being 2-0 shutout wins for each team on the road.
UCCS has qualified for the RMAC tournament four times in the six-year history of the program. Wednesday's matchup will be the third time the Mountain Lions and Skyhawks have met in the conference tournament.
