UCCS Fifth in New NSCAA Regional Poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -  The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team (6-1-0, 3-1-0 RMAC)  is ranked fifth in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire Division II South Central Poll released earlier this morning. 

The Mountain Lions have dropped just one spot in the regional poll after suffering their first loss of the season in overtime to unbeaten and nationally ranked No. 8 Colorado School of Mines (7-0-1, 4-0-0 RMAC). UCCS earned its sixth straight win last Wednesday night in a 2-0 shutout of Colorado Christian.

UCCS will return to action this Friday, Oct. 4 when it hots Regis (2-4-1, 0-3-1 RMAC). Game time is set for 5 p.m. at Mountain Lion Stadium.
