Women's Soccer to Webstream Home Games in 2013
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fans of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Mountain Lions will be able to follow more of their teams with live video streaming with the addition of outdoor sports for the 2013-14 academic year. Women's soccer, men's soccer and softball will now be offered through America One Networks, in addition to the existing broadcasts for men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball.
Every RMAC school broadcasts basketball and volleyball through America One Networks, and season passes will be available by the network closer to the start of the season. Because not every school in the conference is able to produce a broadcast for soccer and softball, fans can either purchase 30-day passes or individual game passes for $8. An RMAC All-Access pass, which provides streaming access for every game broadcasted by a conference school, is available for $125.
Five of the nine men's teams and seven of the 11 women's teams will have video streaming abilities for soccer this season. Broadcasts are the responsibility of the home team, and some games may not be broadcast because of multiple home contests for that institution, including for UCCS. Because of limited equipment, the UCCS soccer games on Oct. 4 and Oct. 18 will not be available because of conflicting home volleyball games in the Gallogly Events Center.
