COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team will hold a summer Soccer Tennis Tournament June 29 at Mountain Lion Field. The open tournament winner will receive $500, while the coed tournament champion will win $250.

The three-on-three tournament begins at 1 p.m., and teams are guaranteed four games for a $100 entry fee. The championships are scheduled to be played under the lights. The coed teams need at least two women to qualify for the division, but may also compete in the open division.

Participants can register online for specific rules and waiver documents. Team members can bring the waiver documents with them to the stadium on the day of the tournament, or arrive early to complete the forms.

The Soccer Tennis Tournament will be used to support the UCCS Men's Soccer Team. The Mountain Lions finished in the semifinals of the 2012 RMAC tournament last season after hosting a first round playoff game for the second time in program history and the first since joining the RMAC.
