Mountain Lions Secure Fourth Seed in RMAC Tournament

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (8-8-1) will host the first playoff game in program history as the fourth seed and will play fifth seed Colorado Mesa (8-6-4) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Mountain Lion Stadium in the 2012 RMAC Men's Soccer Tournament. The game will be preceded by the Mountain Lions women's game against Fort Lewis at 4:30 p.m.

Metro State will host Fort Lewis in the other opening round game Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. The winner of the UCCS/Colorado Mesa game will feature No. 1 seed Regis on Friday at 2:30 p.m., while Colorado Mines will host the winner of the Metro State/Fort Lewis game at 2:30 p.m. The highest remaining seed will host the championship game on Sunday at a time to be determined by the host.

The Mountain Lions fell by a 1-0 decision to Colorado Mesa when the teams met on Oct. 7.

UCCS has advanced to the RMAC Tournament eighth times in program history for the second straight season. It's the first home playoff game in program history.
