Schroeder Named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer goalkeeper Kelly Schroeder earned RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after the junior goalkeeper led the Mountain Lions to a 2-0 record last week.
Schroeder set the program record for career saves with 14 last weekend. She currently stands with 153 saves and also holds the program record in career shutouts with seven including Friday night's shutout of Fort Hays State.
Schroeder currently leads the RMAC in saves. Her save percentage stands at .933 and second in the conference. She has faced 29 shots and allowed one goal on the season so far.
Schroeder and the Mountain Lions will be back in action on Friday Sept. 7 at 7:30 pm at Mountain Lion Stadium.
