Three Mountain Lions Lead Colorado Rapids U-20 Team to North American Title

BRADENTON, Fla. - Mountain Lion sophomores Annick Pearson, Calli Brody and Hannah Levett helped lead the Colorado Rapids Under-20 team to the U-20 North American Championship last the IMG Soccer Facilities on July 22. The Rapids went unbeaten as a first-year program in the Super 20 League.

The Rapids advanced out of group play with three games in each of the games, and won the final game of the group action with a 3-0 victory against defending champion Triangle FC of North Carolina. Colorado won the title with a 1-0 victory against DC United Women.

Pearson and Brody appeared in all four games for the Rapid defense, which allowed an average of one goal per contest and two shutouts in the final two games of the tournament. Levett appeared in all four games on the offense, and helped the team tie for the tournament lead with 10 goals in the four games.
