Men's soccer Alumni Game scheduled for April 17
The annual UCCS Alumni Soccer Game has been scheduled for Sunday, April 17, with an 11 a.m. kickoff.
Among the confirmed alumni who will be present to take on the UCCS varsity team will be Greg Meyer and Jeff Bettner. Meyer was a goalkeeper at UCCS from 1994-97 and was the school's first All-American. He still holds the school career records for matches played (75), wins (43), saves (482) and shutouts (21.5). Bettner played for UCCS from 2005-08 and was the team captain as a senior. he went on to serve as an assistant coach.
