Alumni Game canceled
The storm that moved through Colorado Springs Thursday night and Friday and the subsequent postponement of the annual Alumni Game created enough scheduling conflicts that the game has been canceled.
There is hope that the game can be rescheduled for August.
The game has become a staple at UCCS. The school boasts an impressive roster of former soccer players, several of whom went on the play professionally at one level or another. Each year, many of the best return to play on the alumni team, which has beaten the varsity on occasion.
