Miley signs with professional team
UCCS soccer standout Greg Miley was recently signed to the Kitsap Soccer Club. The Kitsap Soccer Club, a professional soccer team in the United Soccer League (USL), is located in Seattle, Washington. The USL is the largest organization of elite-level soccer leagues in North America. USL provides a clearly defined path for the progression of male and female soccer players beginning at the youth level (USL Super Y-League/USL Super-20 League), continuing up through the amateur level (USL Premier Development League/USL W-League) and on up to the professional level (USL PRO).
The Kitsap Pumas are part of the Premier Development League within the USL. During the 2009 season, the Pumas ranked first in their division with a 12-1-3 record.
While at UCCS, Miley was named to the All-RMAC Second Team and to the NSCAA All-Central Region Second Team in 2009, and to the third-team all-RMAC in 2008. In his senior year, he tied for third on the team in goals (3), ranked second in points (8), and had two assists.
