Soccer: Bryan Stoeber named to the all-RMAC first team

Mountain Lion Sophomore Bryan Stoeber was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference first-team all-RMAC soccer team, the conference announced Wednesday.

Stoeber, who started in all 19 games for the Mountain Lions, was previously named to the 2007 first-team academic all-RMAC soccer team. He was tied for fourth in the RMAC in assists with five, and was fifth in shots with 54. He was also among the top ten in the RMAC in points, points per game, goals, assists, and assists per game. He led the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs soccer team in points (17), shots, goals (6), and assists.

Colorado School of Mines player Craig Thompson was awarded RMAC Player of the Year, while Regis player Nathan Kafer was awarded Freshman of the Year. Metro State had two awards, Defensive Player of the Year Garrett Sadusky and Coach of the Year Ken Parsons.
