February 3, 2003New soccer coach hiredThe University of Colorado at Colorado Springs wanted a soccer coach who could take the Mountain Lions to a championship, so they hired somebody who’s been to three in a row.
July 9, 2003The Mountain Lion soccer program will begin open tryouts for its 2003 team at 8:00 a.m. on August 10th at the 4-Diamond Sports Complex located on N. Nevada Avenue. The players were doing their best to recall their coach, the now exited Eddy Dietz. Amidst the dysfunction at the onset of the season, wins were hard to come by for the team—and imminent change was doubtful.
