Colorado Christian halts CU-Colorado Springs six-game win streak with 2-0 victory in men's soccer
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Brian Schrunk and Dominic Duran scored unassisted goals in the first half to lead the Colorado Christian University men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory Thursday over No. 18 UC-Colorado Springs at 4-Diamond Complex.
The Cougars stopped CU-Colorado Springs' winning streak at six, while winning their second consecutive RMAC contest. Colorado Christian is now 2-3 overall and in the RMAC, while CU-Colorado Springs is 7-2 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
Goalie Chris McClellan made seven saves for Colorado Christian, while Mike Archuleta stopped four shots for the Mountain Lions.
