COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After winning the West/South Central Region Preview on Tuesday,
Tanner Comes has been named this week's RMAC Men's Golfer of the Week.
The sophomore led the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a -6 under par performance at the La Paloma Golf Club in Amarilla, Texas. Comes shot a 142 (68, 74) as the No. 15-ranked Mountain Lions placed first by just one stroke.
Comes is the second UCCS player to earn the weekly nod after
Colin Prater won the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout.
The Mountain Lions are back in action next Monday and Tuesday when they compete in the Lancer Invitational next Monday and Tuesday.
