ALAMOSA, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs volleyball team concludes its season tonight as they fall to No. 12 ranked Adams State in the quarterfinal match of the 2012 RMAC tournament 3-1(25-22, 25-11, 25-27, 26-25).

UCCS was led on offense in the first set by senior Linsdy Heisler, who recorded five of her six kills in the set. Freshman Kim Catlett also had a good first set as she recorded a well balanced three kills, two digs, and one assist. Catlett finished the match with 11 kills, eight digs, two assists, one solo block, and a game-high of four service aces which ties a career-best.

The Mountain Lion's would fall in the second set as no player on the team had more than two kills. Kim Catlett and Nikki Kinzer each had two and Megan Koop, Amy Einspahr and Sam Schroeder each added one.

Freshman Jordan Banich took over in the third set to help led the Mountain Lions to their first set win. Banich recorded six kills and one block assist in the set and finished with 10 kills, two block assists and one dig. The RMAC defensive player of the year, Nikki Kinzer, also had a good third set as she had five kills, two block assists and one dig in the set.  Kinzer helped lead UCCS to a 27-25 win to extend the match to a fourth set.

Kinzer continued her well rounded play in the fourth set as she recorded four more kills and three more block assists. Kinzer finished the match with a game-high 13 kills, adding five block assists and one dig. Senior Amy Enispahr had a good finish to the match as she had two kills and three block assists in the final set. Einspahr finished with four kills, five block assists and one dig. Freshman Katie Maguire also saw her best set in the fourth as she recorded eight digs and three assists in the set. Maguire finished the match with 15 digs and five assists.

Senior setter Lindsey Stich anchored the Mountain Lion offense all match as she tacked on 42 assists. Stich would also add six digs, four kills and one block assist in the match.
