CANYON, Texas – University of Colorado Colorado Springs junior outside hitter Kim Catlett finished one of the best weekends of her collegiate career with a selection to the 2014 BritKare Lady Buff  Classic All-Tournament team.

Catlett's 3.88 kills per set ranked second in the tournament, and her 0.62 service aces ranked her fourth. She was also ninth with 3.62 digs per set and was the only student-athlete in the tournament to rank in the top 10 in both kills and digs.

Catlett finished the tournament with 24 kills and 20 digs against Texas Woman's, a team that was receiving votes in the AVCA Division II Preseason Poll. It was the first 20/20 performance in kills and digs for a Mountain Lion since 2006. She led UCCS in kills in three of the four matches. Catlett also recorded three service aces against Texas Woman's and West Texas A&M in her best serving performances in nearly a year.

Catlett and the rest of the Mountain Lions will be a home Sept. 12-13 for the Steel & Silver Classic. UCCS will take on Lindenwood, Alaska, Pittsburg State and Nebraska-Kearney at the Gallogly Events Center in the final weekend before RMAC action.
