COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's golf team was picked No. 10 in the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released late last week. The Mountain Lions begin the first season as an NCAA Division II team this season.
UCCS and Metro State will both be competing in women's golf for the first time in 2013-14. Head Coach
Sadie Farnsworth, a record-setting golfer at Colorado Mesa, will lead the inaugural season for the Mountain Lions.
The Mountain Lions will open the season this weekend in the first RMAC event Sept. 7-8. Competition will take place at the Desert Hawk Golf Course in Pueblo West, Colo.
