The Mavericks continued the momentum from the end of the first set and used a 10-point rally to take a 16-4 lead in the second set. Colorado Mesa scored the first four points out of the timeout before a kill from Bush and Taylor Hamilton made it a one-point contest at 14-13, but the Mavericks went on a 6-1 run for a 20-14 lead and took the third set 25-17 and the match 3-0.

Bush led UCCS with eight kills and five blocks, and Catlett finished with a team-high two service aces and 19 digs.

UCCS ends the season in the conference postseason for the second time in the last three seasons and the first time under Head Coach Chrissy Elder. UCCS will return a group of 10 freshmen and two all-conference honorees for 2015.
