2008-2009: He won top individual honors at the RMAC Golf Event #1 shootiong a 204 (12-under par). ... He was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s golfer of the week for the week of September the 15th after he shot a three-round total of 204 to lead the Mountain Lions to a first-place team finish. ... Bishop shot a 72 and 65 on the first day, followed by a third round mark of 67 on the par 72 course. ... His 65 mark was the lowest by any golfer and his 67 tied for the second-lowest score in the tournament. On September the 29th he was named as the RMAC men's golfer of the week once again after he shot a three-round score of 208 (5-under par) to win the NCAA Division II Preview Tournament, which was at Loomis Trail Golf Club in Blaine, Wash. ... Bishop's victory was even more impressive when the quality of the field was factored. Fourteen of the 20 teams were ranked among the top 25 nationally in the Golf World/Nike Coache's Poll and five others were listed as also receiving votes.
