Defending RMAC Champions Picked Third in Preseason Coaches' Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The defending RMAC champions University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team was picked to finish third in the preseason coaches' poll released by the conference office. The Mountain Lions received one first place vote among the nine men's teams in the conference.

The Mountain Lions won their 11th RMAC championship in the spring with the conference individual champion Kevin Witte. UCCS scored 26 points in the coaches voting behind preseason favorite Colorado Mines and second-ranked Colorado State-Pueblo. Western New Mexico received two first-place votes but was ranked fourth in the balloting with Colorado Mesa.

UCCS begins the 2013 fall season at the Brickyard Invitational in Indianapolis Sept. 15-16.
