Local colleges: UCCS men’s golf wins tourney

PUEBLO - The Colorado-Colorado Springs men's golf team improved by 13 strokes from the first round to the third round and won its first tournament of the season with an 872 at CSU-Pueblo Wolf Pack Invitational at Walking Stick Golf Course. The win comes against four teams ranked ahead of the Mountain Lions. Colorado Mines, the second-ranked team in the region, finished 11 strokes behind UCCS.

Eddie DeLashmutt and Kevin Witte finished second and third, respectively.
