Dean Earns RMAC Golfer of the Week
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Grant Dean, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs' top golfer at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational over the weekend, earned RMAC Men's Golfer of the Week honors by the conference office this afternoon. It's the first such honor in his career.
Dean finished the tournament at three shots over par over the three rounds and tied for No. 20 in the tournament where the Mountain Lions were the only team not from the NCAA Division I to compete. He turned in a best round of two shots under par to open the tournament.
Dean and the rest of the Mountain Lions will travel to Montrose, Colo., for the first RMAC event of the season on Monday and Tuesday. Colorado Mesa will host the event at the Black Canyon Golf Course.
