The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs men's golf team jumped seven spots to No. 15 in the national standings, according to Golfstat.
The Mountain Lions went into the Grand Canyon Invitational, which concluded Tuesday, ranked No. 22. UCCS' fourth-place finish was better than ranked teams Grand Canyon and Cal State-San Bernardino which, in large part, accounted for the jump.
UCCS coach Phil Trujillo was pleased with the ranking, particularly since he feels the Mountain Lions haven't played their best golf yet.
