Winder named RMAC golfer of the week

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs junior Eric Winder was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference menâ€TMs golfer of the week, the conference announced Thursday.
Winder finished in a three way tie for first place at the RMAC Golf Championship at the Riverdale Dunes Golf Course in Brighton, Colo.. Winder was selected over the other two (UCCSâ€TM Tyler Bishop and Regisâ€TM Miles Philpy) because he had the lowest single round of the three with a 5-under par 67 in the first round.
UCCS won the meet with a score of 845, 27 strokes better than its nearest competitor.
