Golf team takes fourth in Arkansas

Chase Wortmann shot a three-round score of 231 to lead the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to a fourth-place finish at the Central Arkansas Invitational, which was held Monday and Tuesday at the Greystone Country Club in Cabot, Ark.
Wortmannâ€TMs score tied him for 12th individually. Joe Saliba tied for 17th, six strokes behind Wortmann. Mark Ruybalid shot a 238, Neil Huffaker shot a 242 and Nick Van Etten posted a 246.
Delta State won the team competition by shooting 893. Arkansas Tech was second, 18 strokes back, and Central Arkansas took third, 28 strokes off the pace. UCCS finished eight strokes behind Central Arkansas.
Fifteen teams competed in the tournament.
