January 16, 2013Mountain Lions Finalize Spring 2013 ScheduleThe University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team will travel to three states, in addition to one tournament in Colorado, during the regular season in the finalized spring 2013 schedule. The Mountain Lions compete in five events before the start of the championship schedule at the end of April.
December 4, 2012Trujillo Adds Mitchell to Signing ClassUniversity of Colorado Colorado Springs Head Men's Golf Coach Phil Trujillo is excited to announce the signing of Dylan Mitchell of Summit County High School to a National Letter of Intent. Mitchell signed during the early signing period and joins Blake Young and Joey Hearn as members of the 2012-13 signing class.
November 27, 2012Trujillo Signs Young and Hearn to National Letters of IntentUniversity of Colorado Colorado Springs Head Men's Golf Coach Phil Trujillo is excited to announce the signings Blake Young and Joey Hearn to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period. The pair is the first signees in the Mountain Lion's 2012-13 recruiting class for men's golf.

October 8, 2012Mountain Lions Turn in Strong Second Round to Finish Day in Sixth at Palmer InviteSpencer Biersdorff shot five strokes under par in the second round to lead the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team to a sixth-place standing after the first day of the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational today, hosted by West Texas A&M. The Mountain Lions shot four strokes under par in the second round and ended the day at eight over par with one round remaining tomorrow.

It was an improvement for the Mountain Lions after yesterday's opening rounds.

Spencer Biersdorff led the Mountain Lions throughout the entire three rounds and finished in a tie for No. 12 overall.

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs tied for eighth in the team standings with most of the team's top golfers staying at home.

The Mountain Lions received 53 points in the voting and placed third among the teams receiving votes.
August 23, 2012UCCS Picked Fifth in RMAC Poll, DeLashmutt Named Preseason All-ConferenceReturning First Team All-RMAC golfer Eddie DeLashmutt earned preseason individuals while the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men’s golf team earned a fifth-place pick in the 2012 RMAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll released this afternoon. The Mountain Lions earned two first place votes and finished four voting points behind the preseason runner-up.
