By Jared Verner published February 3, 2014

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs student-athletes maintained a term grade point average above 3.00 for the 19th consecutive semester and 34 Mountain Lions earned a spot on the Dean's List or President's List for the Fall 2013 term. The academic success comes during another successful athletic season in the fall and winter teams.

The Mountain Lions put together a term GPA of 3.09, with women's golf leading the individual sport teams with a 3.32 team GPA. Agnes Arnadottir and James Roberts were both members of the Capital One Academic All-District First Team, and Ryder Tam won the RMAC Summit Award in men's soccer for the highest cumulative GPA at the conference championships.

On the field, five Mountain Lion fall teams were regionally or national ranked and the women's cross country team finished No. 20 at the national championships. In the winter sports, the men's basketball team is putting together one of its best seasons in program history, both indoor track and field teams have provisional qualifiers and women's basketball is in position to make the conference tournament for the third consecutive season.
