The University of Colorado Colorado Springs athletic department received six mentions in Colorado Springs and California media groups for the week of Feb. 3-9, 2012. The Mountain Lions' academic success, the National Singing Day activities and a milestone for the UCCS women's basketball team were among the topics covered by media organizations.
