Men's Basketball (0-4 / 0-0 RMAC)

  • UCCS opens the conference season with defending RMAC Shootout semifinalist Fort Lewis on Friday night before taking on RMAC Shootout qualifier Adams State on Saturday.
  • Darius Pardner earned All-Mac Martin Invitational honors after averaging 14 points and 2.5 steals last weekend in Chico, Calif. He's leading UCCS this season in steals and assists.
  • The Mountain Lions' scoring defense is the best through the first four games of a season since the start of the 1991-92 campaign.
  • UCCS won it's home exhibition game at the Gallogly Events Center earlier this year in a 75-70 victory against Northern New Mexico.
Women's Basketball (2-1 / 0-0 RMAC)

  • The Mountain Lions begin the RMAC season with defending regional semifinalist Fort Lewis on Friday night and with Adams State on Saturday night.
  • Abby Kirchoff leads UCCS with 12.7 points per game and is one of four Mountain Lions shooting 50 percent or better from the field, along with Jeri Pikul, Kellie Krueger and Sam Patterson.
  • UCCS has won three of its last four home games and is 3-1 in conference home-openers since the 2008-09 season.
  • The Mountain Lions are leading the RMAC with 47 rebounds per game and a rebounding margin of +17.7 through the first three games of the season.
