Hagemann Joins Foundation Staff as Associate Director

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Melinda Hagemann, a former advertising manger with the Colorado Springs Gazette, joined the staff of the University of Colorado Foundation as the Associate Director of Development for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs campus. She will work with the Mountain Lion athletic department in supporting the needs of one of the top athletic programs in the RMAC this season.

Hagemann spent nearly eight years with The Gazette and worked closely with local and national companies on multimedia campaigns and served on The Gazette's associate volunteer board.

Hagemann is an active participant in the Colorado Springs community and volunteers with many organizations like the Cheyenne Mountain School District and Junior Achievement. She is involved with Leadership Pikes Peak, a program which educates leaders about the Colorado Springs community, its needs and resources with a goal of improving the civic health of the Pikes Peak region.

Hagemann earned a degree in fine arts from the University of New Mexico. A native of Columbia, Mo., she played high school basketball and golf at Hickman High School, and competed in the Missouri high school golf championship.
