COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- As the University of Colorado Colorado Springs has done for several years now, numerous athletes participated in Read Across America -- a national event to celebrate reading. This years event took place on Mar. 3 at Will Rogers Elementary School.
Known as Dr. Suess Day by the students, UCCS athletes wore colorful Dr. Suess style top-hats and read different classics to the young scholars that even included the timeless Green Eggs and Ham.
