McPhail named RMAC player of the year

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs senior Katie McPhail was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year, the conference announced Friday.

McPhail, who was also named first-team All-RMAC, posted an 11-10 record at No. 1 singles in her fourth season of RMAC competition. She also had a 13-8 doubles record.

Teammates Natascha Vander Molen and Katelyn Towne were named second-team All-RMAC. Vander Molen earned the honor at No. 3 singles and Towne did so at No. 5 singles.

Towne and Charis Lopez were named honorable mention All-RMAC at No. 3 doubles.
