Towne named RMAC player of the week

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs freshman Katelyn Towne was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's tennis payer of the week, the conference announced Friday.
Towne defeated Shana Pasley of Dallas Baptist 2-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-6) at #5 singles, then teamed with Kim Howard at #3 doubles to knock off Dallas Baptist's Pasley and Brittany Banks 9-7 as the Mountain Lions dropped a 5-4 decision on March 14.
Towne, from Loveland, is now 2-3 for the season in both singles and doubles play.
