The Course

The course is a 2,000-meter (2-kilometer) loop with the start and finish on grass and the other 95% run on a smooth crushed gravel trail that is about 6-8 feet wide. Waffle racers or road race flats would probably be best.

The course is located in the North section of Monument Valley Park on the East side of I-25. You take the Uintah exit and go East on Uintah for a couple of blocks until you reach Cascade (a stop light) and you turn left (North). You proceed up Cascade a few blocks until you reach Fontanero and go left (West). There will be a gravel parking lot at the end of Fontanero and you can park there as well as along the streets in the neighborhood. The start and finish area are only a couple hundred feet from the street. Trainers will be on site for medical aide if needed.
