Women's Cross Country at Metro State Invitational

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's cross country team will be competing Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Metro State Invitational at Washington Park in Denver, Colo.  The six-kilometer race hosted by Metropolitan State University will begin at 10 a.m. 

The Mountain Lions are ranked No. 10 this week in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national polls released on Wednesday.  UCCS finished second among Division II teams and fourth among all collegiate teams at the Erik Anderson Invitational, Sept. 21, in Spokane, Wash.   

UCCS will be competing next in the RMAC Championships, Oct. 26, in Silver City, New Mexico.
